Seven Weeks

Seven weeks! My, how time flies. We did the conformation critique yesterday and that went very well. We're very pleased with the litter overall. Thank you to Debbie Claussen for taking the time to help us with doing the actual evaluation, and also to Margie Bragg for being our stacker, quite a tricky job with 7-week-old puppies. You'll note the wounds on Margie's arms in the pictures...little Green Girl did those in a play session earlier! I think Margie just has thin skin, what do you think? <g>

Conformation Critique

Pink Girl Goes Home

Our good friend, Cindy Hult, took Pink Girl, aka "Story", home on Wednesday, December 3rd. Story will live with Shana, who is Spirit's older sister
from the first Pepper/Jammer breeding. I love the expression on Shana's face in this picture. It's one of those "the gig is up" looks.
Cindy will be doing obedience, agility and tracking with Story and is looking forward to continuing her long history of therapy work through the
Delta Society. Shana and Cindy are regular visitors at the Sacramento area hospitals and someday her new girl will accompany them.

Red Girl Goes Home

Vicky and Bob Chaney left on Friday, December 5th, with Red Girl, now called Darcy. They drove home to Garden Grove
in their awesome motor home. Nice digs! Darcy will share the home with Aunt Polly, roommate Pandy, two Rag Doll cats, and
an African Grey parrot. Vicky will be pursuing obedience and agility with her new girl.

Hanging out after breakfast , Purple Boy shows he is definately a Spirit son and demonstrates how he nurses on his toys. Then came an impromptu puppy training session as Terry used Orange Boy to show Joanne and Suzanne, who are taking Purple and Green, how to teach puppy sits, downs, and stands. That's Blue Boy on the reserve bench hoping to get called up to be demo dog.

Green Girl Goes Home

Suzanne Bolwell flew home to Seattle with Green Girl, now known as "Kiwi", on Saturday, December 6th.
They are going to be a great team, and Suzanne plans to pursue a variety of activities with her new girl.
Their main focus will be obedience but Suzanne is interested in trying out field, tracking, and agility too.

Purple Boy Goes Home

Purple Boy, who is now called "Hoot", flew home to Denver with new mom, Joanne Bartley, on Sunday, December 7th. They will be pursuing hunt test titles, obedience, agility and tracking together. Joanne and Hoot are pictured here with momma, Spirit.

Orange Boy Goes Home

Orange Boy's new mom, Kris Davenport, arrived on Wednesday, December 10th, to pick up her boy,
whom she named "Owen". Together Kris and Owen made an epic overnight journey
to Owen's new home in Orlando, Florida, where Kris plans to do agility and obedience with him.

Blue Boy Goes Home
Blue Boy went home with his new family on Sunday, December 14th, to nearby Walnut Creek. Meribeth Farmer, Phil Joukoff, their daughters, Allison and Megan, and son, Robby, will no doubt keep their new boy as busy as he will keep them. Robbie plans to do obedience with the puppy, whose name is now Murphy. Pictured at left with Murphy are Meribeth, Phil, and Allison. At right are Allison holding Orange Boy and Robby holding Blue Boy during an earlier visit.
