Three And A Half Weeks Old
Wednesday, January 27, 1999

Today was a day full of firsts or near firsts.  It was the first day in their new digs.  They are now set up in the living room in two xpens and they will spend most of their time there until they are ready to be outside on a regular basis.  Today was also their first day outside, in the cold, on the grass.  They handled it just fine though.  They were more concerned with cuddling to keep warm than exploring but that will change soon enough. Although it wasn't their first day ofeating on their own, it was the first time they tried the new gruel we made for them.  Up until today Terry has been giving them goat milk individually to begin the weaning.  Now they are getting a ground-up mixture of Cream of Rice, goat milk and ground beef.  They loved it!  It looked good on them too, as you can see in the pictures below <g>.  You look mAHvelous!

Ahem...excuse me! Do you think one of you could get us
some napkins in here?
Sheesh! You don't have to be rude about it.
I just asked a question.

Brrrr, it's cold out here!
